We've combined the signature tang of natural key lime and premium Nielsen-Massey Vanilla with flour and sugar in this no-fail mix for easy baking. Kneading and rising is not required. Just add butter, milk and eggs, and then bake in a loaf pan. Serve freshly cut slices of the finished bread plain, or embellish with a quick dab of butter or cream cheese.

Preparation Instructions

Ingredients

• 1 package quick bread mix
• 8 Tbs. (1 stick/125 g) unsalted butter, melted
• 3/4 cup (180 ml) milk
• 2 eggs

Directions

• Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour 4-by-8-inch (10-by-20-cm) loaf pan.
• In a bowl, stir together quick bread mix, butter, milk and eggs until combined. Pour batter into pan and spread evenly. Bake until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean, 55 to 60 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes, then turn loaf out onto a rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
• Serves 10 to 12.
