RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS

• Mix ships fresh at ambient temperature.
• Upon receipt, store unopened at room temperature for up to 18 months.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

Ingredients

• 1 packet shortcake baking mix (included)
• 1 packet sugar (included)
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold, diced or shredded using box grater
• 3/4 cup plus 2 Tbs. heavy whipping cream

Directions

• Preheat oven to 425°F.
• Pour shortcake mix in mixing bowl with diced/grated butter. Use fingers or fork to rub in butter until mixture resembles cornmeal with a few larger pieces of butter. Add 3/4 cup of heavy cream and mix until shaggy.
• Turn out on lightly floured board and knead a few times until dough just comes together. Roll out to 1" thick and cut into rounds, squares or triangles. Place biscuits on unbuttered baking sheet.
• Brush tops with remaining 2 Tbs. heavy cream and sprinkle with sugar packet.
• Bake in oven for 10–12 minutes, or until tops are lightly browned and dough is set.
• Cool on rack and serve warm.
