Now, you can whip up a batch at home with our chocolate-hazelnut starter, prepared with premium ingredients, including pure cane sugar, Dutch cocoa and French hazelnut flavoring. Just mix the starter with half-and-half and heavy cream, pour it into an ice cream maker and freeze.

Receiving Instructions

• Store unopened at room temperature for up to 18 months.

Preparation Instructions

• 1 gelato starter packet
• 1 1/2 cup half-and-half
• 1 1/2 cup heavy cream

Place ice cream maker bowl in freezer and cool according to manufacturer's instructions.

In large bowl, whisk half-and-half with heavy cream until combined.

Stir in 1 starter packet and whisk 3–5 minutes or until dissolved.

Add mixture to chilled ice cream maker bowl and churn according to manufacturer's instructions for 20 minutes or until thickened.

Transfer gelato to freezer-safe bowl. Cover surface with plastic wrap, freeze for 30 minutes and remove.

• Sugar, cocoa powder (processed with alkali), salt, natural flavor, artificial flavor, less than 2% of silicon dioxide (anti-caking agent).
• This product is prepared and packaged using machines that may come in contact with dairy, eggs, sesame, soy, tree nuts (almonds, coconut, pecans), wheat/gluten, mustard.
